Enhancing Reading Literacy , Bhutan
Since July 2019, Magic Libraries Foundation (MLF) has provided technical and financial support to READ Global (READ) in Bhutan to enhance the reading literacy of 3’400 children.
MLF and READ have already achieved the following results:
– Thirteen (13) primary schools’ and two (2) community centers’ libraries were renovated
– 3’960 new children’s books were supplied.
– 44 language teachers and librarians were trained on run structured reading.
– 480 reading sessions were held.
