Enhancing reading in multicutural community library, Switzerland (2018-2020)

Magic Libraries is currently funding a 2 year project to support the activities of a community library, LivrEchange, based in Fribourg, Switzerland. The association LivrEchange promotes the joy of reading through storytelling and playful reading activities in several languages and offers children access to books in 265 different languages. The funding will enable the acquisition of new children’s books in several languages and the organization of multilingual reading sessions for children and families in the library and in underprivileged neighborhoods.
